How I Built a Chicken Coop as a Newbie

Posted on July 13, 2023 by

What I would change and keep if I did it again. – Renae

Welcome to the Nae Cakes Cottage community.

Having left the entrepreneur world, I’m transitioning into this simpler life. It turns out … it’s not as simple to start the simple life as I thought.

Join me as I learn and grow and I’ll help you do the same.

Renae was trapped in hustle culture until 2022. Like many before her, she discovered true freedom through self reliance. Renae had 0% experience in homesteading and chicken coop building. She wants to film her journey as Renae learns and builds. Some day, Renae plans to use the footage to help other newbies feel comfortable in making the drastic change from Corporate American to slowsteading.
